Meet Chris
Chris Sabin is a seasoned Solar Operations Guru with over two decades of leadership in the renewable energy sector. He currently serves as the Director of Construction for Core Development Group and the Managing Principal Consultant for Sabin Energy Services. Chris specializes in the strategic planning and operational execution of photovoltaic solar, energy storage, and energy efficiency projects.
A true entrepreneur at heart, Chris founded GenRenew, where he served as CEO for nine years, establishing a reputation for craftsmanship and reliability within the Mid-Atlantic solar market. His career is marked by significant roles at industry giants, including serving as the Director of New Business Operations at NRG Home Solar, where he spearheaded the implementation of EV chargers, residential generators, Battery storage and home energy auditing services.
Chris is a NABCEP Certified Solar Installer and holds master electrical contractor licenses in several states. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Management and Operations from Penn State University. Beyond his executive roles, Chris is a dedicated advocate for industry education, having served as Adjunct Faculty at Rowan College for several years.
